TAMS Financial Data, 2007-08
The TAMS MID-SIZE SCHOOL FUNDING FORMULA contributes close to $160,000,000 additional revenue to more than 200 mid-size school districts. If Chapter 41 districts were included in the formula (a TAMS legislative priority), 36 districts would receive another $30,000,000 plus in supplemental funds bringing the total amount of additional revenue to over $189,000,000. To find out what your district receives login to your home page. Click here for a listing of the impact of the mid-size adjustment on all TAMS districts.
Please note if
you are a Chapter 41 district, this amount represents the additional money
your district would receive if Chapter 41 districts were included in the
mid-size adjustment formula or in some cases money your district actually
receives because of a provision in the statute enabling districts that
changed from a Chapter 42 to a Chapter 41 district this biennium to keep
their mid-size adjustment funds. This, however, is a temporary fix and these
funds are at-risk unless the legislature extends the mid-size adjustment to
Chapter 41 districts, a priority legislative goal of TAMS.
